The project received its name from the name of the main villa – Universe. Landscape design was developed for a major construction company in collaboration with a leading architectural firm.
It is a complex, which consist of three villas, united by a common driveway and a stylistic architectural and landscape solutions. We have prepared a full concept for the design of the entire complex of villas – we have thought over the access roads to villas with parking lots, comfortable pathways for walking around, the planning solution for the organization of the relief, functional and decorative landscape lighting, engineering networks, technical areas, placed art objects, planned planting of trees and shrubs and monoculture of perennial flowers and cereal plantings.
Landscapes in this project are designed in a minimalist style, very modern and concise. In a basis of planning decisions of the design of each of the villas was the idea to create a sense of airiness of space. There is a simple and geometric completeness of lines, through-zoning of the site – the area looks holistic, most of the area is set aside for the installation of lawn parterre. In the selection of materials, we also followed the principles of minimalism – large slabs, natural stone, gravel backfill, minimalist street lamps along the paths and built-in LED lighting. A minimum of large trees were used in the plants, mainly to block the view of the neighbouring properties and architecture, so that the garden’s appearance is not crushed by the details that are not inherent to these villas. Otherwise, plants have been selected that are low and highly decorative, to create local accents. Plantings of flowers and cereals are dim, monochrome, calm, visually reminiscent of clouds.
