Calm aesthetics, convenience and harmony – the principles which are forming the basis of the design solutions for this site. In this project is a drop in the terrain, and access to the border with the site of the forest, and a difficult situation with the neighbouring site – it is elevated by one and a half meters relative to the level of planting of the house.
The house is in everyone’s favourite architectural style of Frank Lloyd Wright – a one-story mansion, with wide roof overhangs, panoramic glazing, and open terraces. We needed to develop a landscape where the house would be in harmony with the natural surroundings, so we decided to combine this project in two styles – Art Nouveau and minimalism. The first style is expressed in the smooth lines and curves of the paths, and the smoothness of the lines can also be seen in the planting of arrays of bushes, in phytoplastic, perennial flower gardens, a reservoir in the style of nature. The second style is more visible in the perception of the garden – there is a lot of air and space, large areas are set aside for lawns, finishing with natural stone and architectural concrete retaining walls, steps, used sheared forms of trees – cubes, spheres, clear contours of hedges.
The project is called Lyrica, because this garden is about feelings, about emotional and mental perception. Not in vain Russian and foreign poets in their works turn to landscape lyrics, admire the beauty of the world around us and the harmony that the garden gives us. In this garden it will be comfortable to stroll along the numerous ornate paths, which are going into the forest, relax on the numerous benches placed throughout the area, enjoy the scents of blooming flowers, feel the unity with nature, spend a pleasant evening with family members in a gazebo, which is located near the water, just live and love, bring up children and grandchildren, and foster their a sense of beauty.
